Back in 2004, I started my agility career and after 4 years I became a judge in 2008. Because of my 3 dogs, Abbi, Rhyval, & Quasi(modo), I've been on 18 different world teams spanning IFCS, FCI, & WAO. I've represented AAC 5x at IFCS earning 6 medals, including that of World Champion, along with earning 3 Top 3 ribbons at WAO. I am a proud weekend warrior, which has enabled my dogs & me to achieve the Versatility Lifetime Award 2x, become one of only 10 handlers in Canada to earn the Versatility Platinum Excellent Award, and use our hard-earned skills to win 11 National (AAC/UKI) Championships and 11 AB/NWT Regional Championships. Through my dedication to the sport, I've been coaching others for the last 15 years along with co-hosting 6+ trials a year.
Outside of agility my dogs & I have competed and earned the highest titles in Schutzhund, Obedience, Rally, and Scent Hurdle Racing along with dabbling in Disc Dog, Herding, and Flyball.
I joined the Management Committee hoping that my unique perspective from the various teams I have been on could help shape how future AAC team members can shine on the world stage like I was able to do.
